so last night (? this weekend?) they announced the winners of the golden globes.
there was no ceremony because apparently hollywood can't decide how to cut the writers off a piece of the internet profits.

i could give a shit about the strike. i mean, i'm sorry you're out of work, writers but that's what you get for joining a union. and i don't really watch tv except the wire now and UFC fighting and fox news in the morning and uhm wait there's one more i can't think of it... shit it must not be that important then.

so what i wanted to talk about was the fact that broadcast television only received one award. ONE. (it was 30rock.) the rest of the globes went to cable television.
